New Wines

If you enjoy fine wines you’ll be pleased to hear that Rhodes D7 has now added eleven cru class wines to its one hundred and thirty plus wine list. In keeping with our “reasonably priced wine” policy these are priced around 50% cheaper than would be found in any other restaurant. The list now includes Premier Crus Chateau Latour, Chateau Margaux and Chateau Haut Brion.

For those that prefer something different an indulgent cocktail or two may be the solution – the watermelon martini is the current summer favourite. Our evening ala carte menu has had pan fried sea trout and steamed sea bass included on it and our tiramisu is the best in the business – with a pistachio and hazelnut biscotti and Coole swan Irish liquor ice cream!

Meet the Winemaker Dinner Wednesday 27th August

Following on from the sold out food and wine matching event in July, Rhodes D7 is pleased to announce a "Meet the Winemaker Dinner" on Wednesday 27th August. A presentation will be given by Jerome Poisson, winemaker at Casa Lapostolle, Rapel Valley, Chile with Rhodes D7 Chef John Snodgrass presenting on the five course meal. Matching wines for each course are included but please book early as we expect this special event to be once again sold out. Casa Lapostolle is owned by the Marnier family so don't be surprised if you find a 'Grand Marnier' touch to some of the dishes. Tickets are priced at €75 per person to cover champagne reception, 5 course meal and 5 wines.

Start thinking about Christmas

We know it's early but Christmas bookings have already started and last year many people were unable to get a December table. For companies and staff that have a busy December and cannot fit in their celebratory lunch we are offering a reduced price Christmas group menu available in November and January 09.
